<div itemprop="description">Age 77 of Ostrea Lake, passed away peacefully after a tough battle on February 28, 2017 at Dartmouth General Hospital. <br> <br>Born in Woodside, Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Alvina and Harold Hilchey. <br> <br>Emilie spent many happy years enjoying country music, bowling, playing darts and was an active member on several teams. She was a member of the Somme Branch Legion #31 for many years. She spent many happy years boating on Porter’s Lake, sitting around camp fires and playing washer toss as a summer camper at Scotia Pine Campground with her husband and many friends. She will be missed by many friends. <br> <br>She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband, Charles “Chuck” Boutilier; daughters Karen Thorne and Darlene (Earl) Graham, both of Dartmouth; sons Emmerson (Heather) Boutilier, Ostrea Lake, Ivan Pettipas, West Chezzetcook and Colin (Dion Mouland) Pettipas, Dartmouth; sister Christine (Gary) Richard, Frankfurt, Ont.; brothers Dennis (Darlene) Hilchey, Kingston, Nova Scotia, Terry (Maribel) Hilchey, Alviston, Ont, Mark (Pauline) Hilchey, Brampton, Ont.; grandchildren Jody, Jessica, Patrick, Sherri, Cody, Kyle, and Katlyn; and great-grandchildren Alexander, Joshua, Gabriel, Carter, Leah, Kaden, Scarlett, and Declan. <br> <br>Besides her parents, Emilie was predeceased by her brothers, Harold in infancy and Neil Hilchey, and her grandchild, Dana Thorne. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. <br> <br>Cremation has taken place.
