<div itemprop="description">BROWN, Walter - Age 75 of Halifax, passed away on August, 4, 2016 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax. He was born in Clairville, New Brunswick on September 14, 1940 to Lloyd and Hughena Brown. Walter was very kind-hearted, patient, easy-going, funny and a truly, a kind friend to everyone with a warm smile that lit up the room. <br> <br>Walter was also a cherished husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was pre-deceased by his parents, his brother Sterling, daughter Susan Jean and first wife, Claudine “Joy” (Shirley). He is survived by: sisters Arlene (Steve) Hutchison; Nina (Bud) Frazee; Josie Dunn; Helen (Carle) Jones; Roberta (Bertie) Richard; his wife, Christine; sons Kevin in Fredericton and Brent (Lorey) Brown in Halifax; daughter Stacey (Kirk) Brown-Leslie in Mississauga; and, step-sons Kyle (Roxanne) in Gagetown and Craig (Kathy) Richard in Mississauga. <br> <br>Walter dearly loved his grandchildren Kyle and Adam Leslie and step-grandchildren Cody, Katerina, Eva and Camille Richard. Walter always enjoyed hearing stories about the children’s activities and antics. <br> <br>We all loved him and will miss him so much. <br> <br>Cremation has taken place and he will be interred with his parents in Clairville, New Brunswick. <br> <br>A celebration of life for Walter Lloyd Brown will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 pm in Clairville, New Brunswick. Graveside service will be at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and a memorial immediately following at the Clairville Community Hall. <br> <br>Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.coleharbourfuneral.com <br></div>
