<div itemprop="description">MacDonald, Carl &ldquo;Perry&rdquo; CWO Ret&rsquo;d, CD2 - Mineville, NS &ndash; Perry finished life&rsquo;s journey on January 11th, 2016, at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born February 4th, 1935, in Moser River, NS, Perry was the youngest of four sons born to the late Winslow J. and Pearl A. (Lowe) MacDonald. In 1952, he joined the Army, RCEME, as a Craftsman in Kingston, ON. He spent the next 25 years as a Weapons Technician at various postings both at home and abroad &ndash; Korea, Petawawa, Montreal, Debert, Gagetown, Germany, Borden, retiring from Ottawa H.Q. in 1976 as a CWO. Next, he was the Vice President of Operations for SPS, an Ottawa Engineering Consulting firm. In 1990 he, along with his wife Linda, formed a partnership and opened their Engineering Consulting business in Ottawa known as P&amp;L Services. They sold this successful business in 2000 and retired to NS. They then pursued their enjoyment of RVing, travelling in Canada in the warmer months and heading to the sunny south in the winter. Perry is survived by his wife Linda (MacMillan, Doyle), his sons Mark G. (Francoise), Gatineau, QC; Wade R., Happy Valley, NL; daughter Vicky (Stephen) Peters, Ottawa, ON; step daughter Kimberly (Michael) Young, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS; grandchildren Shawn (Alicia) and Stephanie MacDonald; Jackson, Virginia, Thomas, Elizabeth and Joseph Peters; great grandchildren Elise, Rylan and Shelby MacDonald; and step grandsons Kyle and Kane Findlay. He is survived by a brother Elmer A. MacDonald and by his former wife and the mother of his children, Elizabeth &ldquo;Betty&rdquo; (Terrence) Rutledge all of Moser River, NS as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Perry was predeceased by brothers, Roy G. and J. Frank MacDonald, Moser River, NS, and by foster sister, Lynda (Basil) Davis, Five Islands, NS. Perry was held in high regard by his Military Family, was an astute businessman, was a loving father and grandfather, a great and caring friend, passionate about his dogs and loved his wife Linda beyond all measure.
