FAULKNER, DONALD WILLIAM -67, Dartmouth, passed away suddenly Saturday December 6, 2014 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was a son of the late Vincent and Ruthene Faulkner.
Donald served in the Royal Canadian Navy, and later moved on to the Canadian Coast Guard. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, BR 160. He was an avid sports fan, participating in Darts, Softball, and bowling.
He is survived by, daughters, Donna, Sheri, both of Dartmouth; sons, Donnie, Beaver Bank, Billy, Dartmouth; granddaughters, Heather, Amber, Caitlin; brothers, Kenneth (Sandra), Hart Lake; Chesley (Nora), Bass River; Arthur, Truro; Rod (Margaret), Bass River; Robert (Kathy), Bass River; sister, Marlene Harvey, Woodstock, Ont; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Cole Harbour Funeral Home, 1234 Cole Harbour Road, where a memorial service will be held 2 PM Tuesday December 16th. Private family interment at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Nova Scotia Diabetes Foundation or charity of choice.
