<div itemprop="description">Eisener, Graham Allen, 68, of Lawrencetown, N S passed away on November 3rd, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, with his loving family surrounding him during his final days. <br />Graham was a son of the late Gordon and Nellie (Verge) Eisener, he spent his early years helping out on the family farm and then moved onto a working career that consisted of many different positions including real estate and sales at Cunard Oil. The majority of his career was spent in the furniture business as the owner of Sterling Furniture Marketing, winning multiple President&rsquo;s awards and gathering much respect from his peers in the business. His life was filled with so much love for his sons, Matthew and David, spouse Denise, grandson&rsquo;s Drew and Jeffrey, and his little girl Lucy. His brothers, sisters, and friends all truly helped him through his long battle with cancer. <br />Outside of work he was very active with the Cole Harbour United Church, sitting on the board of trustees and making every Sunday service he could. He was the past President of the K40 Kinsman Club, Boy Scouts Canada and Commodore of the Halifax-Dartmouth Power Boat Club. <br />Graham was a man that lived every day to his fullest and wouldn&rsquo;t rest until the job was done. He loved tending to his gardens and property and took great pride in everything he did. He also loved driving his classic cars, boating and going to the camp on the weekends for some quality family time. <br />Graham is survived by his wonderful spouse, Denise (McCarthy); sons, Matthew (Ashley Umlah), and David (Chrissy) Cruickshank; brothers, Lloyd (Bunnie), Kenny (Heather), Bob (Joan); blood brother, Clyde (Mayola) Brooks; sisters, Margie Barry, Barbara (Danny) Killen, Pauline (Eric) Naugler, Sandra Bonn (Eldon Hubley), sister in law Angela Eisener; grandsons Drew &amp; Jeffrey; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew; brothers, Terry and David; brother in law, Don; niece Cheryl and nephew Lawrence. <br />The family would like to thank and praise the countless efforts from the nurses, doctors and specialists throughout his long battle in both hospitals. <br />Arrangements have been made for visitation and memorial service to both be held at Cole Harbour Woodside United Church, 15 Bissett Rd, Cole Harbour. Visitation will be on Monday, November 9th from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. Memorial service will follow on Tuesday, November 10th at 1PM. Donations can be made, in his honor ,to the Cole Harbour Woodisde United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
