<div itemprop="description">Sampson, Jane Ann- 89, Dartmouth. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Ann Sampson, who passed away peacefully at her home in Dartmouth, on Monday April 20, 2015. Jane was born in D&rsquo;Escousse, on Cape Breton Island July 25, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Jean Toussaint Bonin and Josephine (Poirier) Bonin. She will be fondly remembered for her love of the Cape Breton fiddle music and dance. She is survived by her five sons, William (Francine) Montreal, P.Q., Sonny (Janice) Leduc, Alberta, Earl (Sharon) Halifax, N. S., Dennis (Laura) West Arichat, N. S., Joel (Janet) New Minas, N.S., her brother Michael Bonin (Donna ) Brighton, Ont., and long- time family friend Randy Corkum, fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Covin, of West Arichat and second husband, Louis Sampson of Dartmouth, a son, John Douglas Covin, sisters, Minnie and Florence, brothers, John, Wilfred, Louis, and Arthur. Jane has donated her body to Medical Science at Dalhousie University, Halifax for the advancement of Medical Education and Research. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Cole Harbour Funeral Home, 1234 Cole Harbour Road, Dartmouth, N. S, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Nova Scotia Hospice Palliative Care Association. The family wish to thank the Doctors and Nurses on the Palliative Care Home Team and the VON, who were wonderful and compassionate to our mother.
