<div itemprop="description">MITCHELL, JANET ‘JENNY’ MARLENE, <br>62, of Dartmouth, NS passed away surrounded by family at the VG Palliative Care unit on September 18th, 2016. Born in Halifax on December 31st, Jenny was the daughter of Helen & the late Frank Mitchell. Jenny was an avid reader, who loved Halloween, baking and making those around her laugh. Jenny worked for Standard Life many years and carried with her many friendships through life. Jenny’s true calling came when she successfully graduated from CDI College in 2007 as a Continuing Care Assistant. Jenny worked at Northwood Manor and loved her clients and would do anything possible to make their lives more comfortable. Jenny leaves behind her Mother, Helen Mitchell, Son Ronald (Melissa) Legge, Fort McMurray, AB. Daughter Lesley Legge, Beaver Bank, NS. Sisters; Frances (Lewis) Payne, Campbell River BC, Margaret (Ronald) O’Leary Woodside, Catherine Mitchell Woodside, Dorothy Mitchell, Kentville, NS. God Daughter Samantha O’Leary, Dartmouth. Amazing niece and nephews. Predeceased by her father Frank Sr., sisters Alice & Mary and her brother Frank Jr. and nephew Craig O’Leary. A celebration of Jenny’s Life will be at the Cole Harbour Arbor Memorial located at 1234 Cole Harbour Rd, Cole Harbour, NS on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at 2-4 & 7-9. Private family internment to take place at a later date Dartmouth Memorial Gardens Main Street Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jenny’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. Beloved by her granddog Diesel, best friend Juanita, sisters of the ‘YA YA’ sisterhood. Special thanks to Mitch Devoe and all of the doctors and wonderful nurses at the VGH 7A Pallative Care unit for taking such good care of our; daughter, sister, mother, aunt, godmother, our Jenny. <br>Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed <br> beyond measure. – Renee Wood. <br> <br></div>
