Age 54 of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully December 1 2016 in Dartmouth General Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was a daughter of Kenneth and Yola Ross.
She lived a quiet life, she was a homemaker for many years. An avid reader, she was fond of Egyptian mythology and Arthurian legends.
She will be missed by her loving husband of 34 years, Brian; son, Christopher, Dartmouth; daughter, Christine (Ivan) Kurylenka, Calgary; parents, Kenneth and Yola; sister, Sandra (Mike) MacDonald, Clam Point; and many nieces, nephews, and loving cousins.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 6 2016 at St. John XXIII Parish, 35 Colby Drive, Dartmouth with a reception to follow.
A second service will take place on Thursday, December 8 2016 at St. Philips Catholic Church in Barrington (2794 Highway 3) with reception to follow. Interment will take place at Old Kirk Cemetery, Cape Sable Island.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of Nova Scotia.
