<div itemprop="description">Covey (Baldwin), Karen Lee – <br><br><br><br>Age 73 of Dartmouth, passed away at the QEII Victoria General Site after a brief illness on February 9, 2017.<br><br><br><br>She was predeceased by her husband, Blair Covey. <br><br><br><br>She will be missed by her beloved daughter Krista (Jerry Widla) Baldwin and the love of her life grandson Alexander Widla all of Brampton, ON.<br><br><br><br>Karen was a lifelong Royal Bank personal banker who retired in 1998 after 38 years of dedicated service.<br><br><br><br>Since retirement, Karen’s passion was travelling the world. She visited Spain over 20 times, and recently travelled to Ireland, Scotland and Austria. She followed world politics and loved to share opinions on many topics while having a cold Coors Light as it was always “11am somewhere in the world.”<br><br><br><br>Karen will be remembered for her sharp wit, loyalty, style and for being a strong woman who opened her heart and her home to her family and close friends.<br><br><br><br>A special thank you to Dr. D. French and the nursing staff of 6A – Thoracic Floor of the QEII Hospital who were wonderful to Karen and Krista.<br><br><br><br>Cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place at Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
