<div itemprop="description">KERR, DORIS LUCY &ndash; 83, Cole Harbour &ndash; With heavy hearts, the family of Doris Lucy Kerr announces her sudden passing on Friday February 7, 2014 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born on November 26, 1930 in Lawrencetown, Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Isabel (Power) Sellars. While working at Fairey Aviation, she met Bob whom she was married to for 59 years. She is survived by her husband Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Kerr; children, Karen (Ted White), Kathy (Vern Miller), Robert (Wendy Schmid), Kim (Bob Sharp). The pride of her life were her grandchildren, Jeff Harris(Wendy), Erin Bridgeo(Riccardo), Daniel Miller (Nyesha), Brendan Miller, Nicholas Kerr(Nicole), Rebecca Kerr, Matthew Sharp(Rebekah), Adam Sharp(Alyce); great grandchildren, Emma &amp; Hannah Harris, Brookelyn, Jaydon and Kenley Bridgeo, whom she loved beyond words. She also leaves to mourn her passing, her two sisters, Glenna Sellars and Joan (Cyril Bissett); sister in law, Pam Sellars; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Nevada Miller; brother Milton Sellars; and a sister in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations in memory may be made to charity of choice.
