<div itemprop="description">Westhaver, Lucy Grace - Dartmouth, died peacefully Friday, March 31 at Oakwood Terrace, Dartmouth, NS. Born 1923 in West Quoddy, N.S., she was the daughter of Bessie and William Gammon. She was predeceased by husband Clarence and all of her siblings. She is survived by daughters Carol Westhaver (Roger Gumbrill), Sandra Creaser (Basil), grandchildren Lynn Coolen (Arthur), Karen Campbell (Jeff) and Brian Creaser (Janet) and great grandchildren, Alec, Sarah, Griffin, Halle, Emily and Ben, whom she all loved dearly. Lucy was a quiet, gracious and generous person. She always put the needs of others ahead of herself. She worked for over 40 years as a seamstress at Mills Brothers. Lucy enjoyed travel, watching her "stories" and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Unit A at Oakwood Terrace for their excellent care and support. By Lucy's request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Society or Oakwood Terrace recreation fund.
