<div itemprop="description">SHEA (Latham), Mary Norma . The family announces the sudden passing of Mary (Latham) Shea, age 84, on August 4, 2015, at home in Halifax. Born in 1931, in New Glasgow, Pictou Co., Mary grew up on the family farm in Sylvester. Mary was a happy, positive person and loving mother who had a great impact on the lives of all who came to know her. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Charles Latham and Mina (Cameron) Latham. Surviving are Mary's daughter, Shelley Shea (Andrew Dunn), Halifax; sons, Kevin Shea, Halifax and Franklyn Shea, Halifax; sister, Genevieve Oliver, Westville. She is also survived by dear nieces and nephews, Darlene, Cathy, Teresa, Annabelle, Wade, Bob, Mable, Ashley, Lloyd, Oliver, Kathleen, Janet, Sandy, and Nancy. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Shea; brother, Donald Latham; sister-in-law, Anita Latham; sister, Annabelle Latham Irving; brother-in-law, Keiller Shea and sister-in-law, Ellen Shea. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 22, in Bethany United Church, 7171 Clinton Ave., Halifax. Reception will follow in the church hall.
