<div itemprop="description">SELLAR, Michael Donnelly. The family of Michael Donnelly Sellar age 57 of Lawrencetown, is saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday December 6th, 2016. Mike served with the Canadian Armed Forces as an Air Frame Tech for 13 yrs, achieving the Rank of Master Corporal. Mike was extremely passionate about his career which was unfortunately cut short due to MS. Mike was known for his exceptional sense of humor and pranks. He was an avid reader & was extremely good at Trivial Pursuit. Mike's hobbies included woodworking, swimming, dancing, singing and he had an avid interest in music. In Mike's younger years he belonged to drama clubs. He held offices as a 15 yr volunteer for the MS Society of NS. He was a Scout Leader & was very proud of his unit for planting hundreds of thousands of trees at Rattlesnake Point, Mississauga, ON. Mike was an avid New England Patriots fan. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Alisa; son Devin (Cassie); daughter Kayla; and precious grandson Bryson who brought great joy to Mike on a daily basis. Also his extended family, father in law, Billy & Reymonde Hare, Stepfather Wally Doucet; sisters in law, Angela(Clarence), Vicki(Frankie), Valerie (Derrick), Brenda(Jim); several nieces and nephews and his long time faithful friend Stuart. Mike was predeceased by mother-in-law June Doucet. A special thank you is extended to the amazing staff of Glasgow Hall for their love, devotion and friendship to Mike. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Cole Harbour Funeral Home, 1234 Cole Harbour Road. Memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday in Cole Harbour Woodside United Church, 15 Bissett Road, Cole Harbour. Private family interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens at a later date.
