<div itemprop="description">It is with Great sadness that we announce the passing of Olive Catherine Kilgar(Cooper) age 93 of Dartmouth. Ollie touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her Kindness, Sweet Spirit, Zest for Life and her Sense of Style. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Vardy) Cooper. She is survived by her sons Calvin, Dartmouth and Gary (Arlene), Halifax; Sisters Alice Gillis, Sydney; Shirley Gray, Manitoba; Granddaughters Jennifer, Janice, Erika; Grandson Colin. She also loved spending time with her many Great-grandchildren. Olive was predeceased by her husband Harold Kilgar; Grandson Jason; Sister Sadie Rolfe; Brothers Roy, Harold and Lawrence, and Daughter-in-Law Bonnie Logan. Ollie was also blessed to have many great friends, nieces and nephews whom she treasured. A Special Mention to everyone that helped with her care, especially Beverly, Donna and Jane. She was Truly Grateful! A Quote from Helen Keller best describes how Ollie lived her life, &ldquo;The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart&rdquo;; further Proof that she will be Forever with Us. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. There will be a Service Thursday May 7, 2:00 PM at Woodlawn United Church, 54 Woodlawn Rd, Dartmouth, N.S. for anyone who wishes to join us in a celebration of Ollie's Life.
