<div itemprop="description"> <p> <b> BELLEFONTAINE,&nbsp; Robert </b> &nbsp;&nbsp; - 30, Dartmouth, passed away suddenly February 25, 2013. Born in Halifax, he was the beloved son of Gail Alice McDow and Paul Bernard&nbsp; Bellefontaine. Robert graduated from Saint Mary's University with a B.A. in Psychology, and later achieved his Social Work degree from Dalhousie University. He was known for his compassionate, non-judgemental, magnetic personality. He would do anything for anyone and loved from the deepest part of his soul. His passions included travelling, friends, family, foolishness and fun (especially in the sun). He packed all the joy and love that he could into such a short life. He was the life and energy of any gathering and barrelled his way into your heart with his antics and lively spirit. He has touched so many lives with his amazing presence.&nbsp; To&nbsp; know him was to love him. He is survived by his mother, Gail (George Saxton) McDow, Halifax; father, Paul (Sherry) Bellefontaine, Woodstock, N.B.; sister, Jill (Dave Gallant) Bellefontaine, Dartmouth; step brothers, Nathaniel Skulish, Dave Augden; special friends, Donnie, Joanne, Candice, Vicki, Carrie and Kate; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was pre&shy; deceased by his grandmothers, Mildred A. McDow and Evelyn Bellefontaine; grandfathers, Earl Bellefontaine and Roy William McDow; great auntie, Beatrice Sullivan and uncle, Larry&nbsp; Bellefontaine.&nbsp; The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Halifax Regional Police for their tremendous&nbsp; empathy and compassion during a difficult time and to all the caring people who helped in one way or another during our time of need. Funeral arrangements&nbsp; have been entrusted&nbsp; to Cole Harbour&nbsp; Funeral Home, 1234 Cole Harbour&nbsp; Rd. where visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday March 1. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday March 2nd in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow. Private family interment in Saint Peters Cemetery at a later date.
