<div itemprop="description">Young, Yvonne Mae (McAuley)-79, of Prince’s Lodge. <br>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom Yvonne on Friday May 20, 2016 in the VG Hospital, QEII, after a short illness. <br>Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late Lillian (Ehler) and George McAuley. <br>Mom loved a good game of crib, playing her Lotto numbers and a good lexicon. She enjoyed waiting for the birds to visit her bird feeders and watching a good game of curling. Mom’s greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her great grandchildren Jenna and Brennen. <br>Mom will be sadly missed by her entire family. <br>Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Dianne Travis, Susan Young (John Howlett); grandchildren, Scott (Annette) Travis, Philip Brown (Janice Lewis); great-grandchildren Jenna and Brennen Travis; sisters Shirley (Robert) Armitage, Sharon (Peter) Kline; brother-in-law Dennis Baxter, nieces Lynn (Brad) Fraser, Lisa Kline (Mike De Grace)and Tammy (George) Campanis; nephews, Richard (Carrie) Baxter, Bradley (Tasha-Lynn) Baxter and Craig Armitage, and many great nieces and great nephews. <br>Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Young, sister Ruth Baxter and nephew Jonathan Baxter in infancy. <br>As per Mom’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life reception for her family and friends will be held at a later date.
